High School Course Selection 2024/25

For students in grades 8-11, course selections are due on Friday, March 1, 2024.  Students will choose their courses through their myBlueprint account in the Student Portal.  Please take the time to make educated decisions. Do your research, review the presentations, and have valuable conversations with teachers and family members before selecting and submitting your preferred courses. 

Early Dismissal for Whole School (Grades 7-12)  On February 21st: 


St. Mother Teresa will have early dismissal on Wednesday, February 21st. Students will be released at 1:30 due to the Grade 7&8 Parent Teacher interviews. OSTA has confirmed that bus service will be available for early release.

Attendance Boundary Decision:

On November 28th the Board of Trustees approved the boundary revisions for St. Joseph & St. Mother Teresa High Schools that will take effect in September 2024.

Here is a brief summary of the recommendations:

Current St. Joseph High School students in grades 7-11 who live within the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and the St. Patrick boundaries will be provided with a one-time option to remain at the school. Students choosing this option will remain designated to attend St. Joseph High School and eligible for transportation, subject to meeting OSTA criteria.

Learn a Language, Earn a Credit

Did you know that you can learn or advance your skills in a language other than English and French while earning credits towards your high school diploma? The International Languages Secondary program with OCSB offers courses in languages such as Mandarin, Punjabi, Ukrainian, Spanish, and more.  Classes are held virtually or in-person every Saturday morning, from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
